Ingredients
- Semolina – 2 cup
- Water – 5 cups
- mustard seeds – 1 pinch
- urud dhall – 1/4 tsp
- toor dhall – 1/2 tsp
- onion – 1 (cut into small pieces)
- garlic – 6 ( cut into small pieces)
- green chilli – 2 (cut into small pieces)
- curry leaves – few
- coriander leaves for garnishing
- salt for taste
- oil – 2 tsp
- ghee – 1 tsp
Method
- In kadai, fry the semolina till little brown and keep it aside.
- In another kadai, add oil, mustard seeds, urud dhall, black gram dhall, onion, garlic, green chilli, curry leaves and saute till the onions becomes brown colour.
- Now add the water and salt.
- While it is boiling, add the fried semolina, little by little and cook for 5 mts.
- Check for seasoning and add the ghee.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
