Ingredients
- Prawns – 1 kg
- Onion – 2 big (chopped nicely)
- Tomato – 3 (chopped into fine pieces)
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 pinch
- Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
- Green Chillies – 5 (Cut lengthwise)
- Curry leaves – 15
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder – 1/4 tsp
- Salt as needed
- Oil – 4 tsp
- Water for cooking
Method
- In a kadai, add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds.
- When the seeds, start spluttering, add onion, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, curry leaves and tomato.
- Cook till, the tomato becomes soft.
- Now add the prawns, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, water and cook till the prawns shape becomes curved and soft.
- Add the garam masala powder and cook for another 3 mts.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or nan or chappathi.
