This Quick Egg Fried Rice is a really a quick fried rice recipe, because we can finish this recipe in just 5 minutes of time. For this recipe, you do not need any vegetables and yet, the fried rice tastes awesome.
How to make Quick Egg Fried Rice
This Quick Egg Fried Rice is one of our family favorite recipe and my kids used to ask me to prepare this at least twice a week.
Normally for a fried rice, lots of veggies are added to make the dish tastier and healthier. But for this Quick Egg Fried Rice, we do not need any veggies, yet the fried rice tastes really awesome.
Also as the name indicates, it can be prepared very quickly like just in 5 minutes of time, when you have the rice ready.

Now Lets see how to make the Quick egg fried rice recipe with step by step instructions and a video for your easy understanding.
Recipe to make the Fried Rice
- Eggs – 4
- Cooked and cooled down rice – 2 bowls you can also use the left over rice
- light soya sauce – 2 tbsp
- rice vinegar – 1.5 to 2 tbsp
- salt – as needed
- black pepper powder – as needed
- oil – 5 to 6 tbsp

In a big kadai, add 4 to 5 tbsp of oil. Once the oil is hot, reduce the flame.

add the eggs now.

Now turn the flame to high and from this time you need to keep the flame high only to make this fried rice.

Start frying the eggs until they become scrambled and 90 % cooked.

Lets add the salt, light soya sauce. (light soya is preferred in this recipe, so that it wont make the dish to be very brown.) (also soya sauce contains more salt, so while adding the salt, adjust carefully)

add the freshly ground black pepper powder as per your spiciness. You can also add the white pepper powder.

Adjust and add the vinegar. Here I have added 1.5 tbsp only.

Give a quick stir

Now add the two bowls of rice. The rice should be 85 to 90 % cooked. If you are using freshly boiled rice, then keep the rice in fridge for 1 to 2 hours and then use it. but I prefer using the left over rice, which gives a great taste to this fried rice.

Mix them well

add in 1 tbsp of oil and sprinkle some more pepper just before switching off the stove.

Again give a quick stir and switch off the stove.

Serve the tasty and easy egg fried rice with chilli sauce or soya sauce.

Notes
- Light soya sauce is preferred for this recipe. If not, you can use the dark soya sauce.
- soya sauce already has salt. so while adding salt, adjust accordingly.
- Rice cooked till 80% is preferred for any fried rice.
