Fried Egg Sandwich is an easy sandwich recipe which can be prepared in just 5 minutes of time. It is just the egg which is fried, and served with the toasted breads and some veggies.

Ingredients
  • Sandwich bread slices / Normal bread - 2
  • Egg - 1
  • Cabbage carrot, tomato - Cut thinly lengthwise
  • optional veggies - lettuce, capsicum, cucumber
  • salt - as per taste
  • pepper - as per taste
  • Garnishing - coriander leaves
  • Cheese slice - 1 Optional
Instructions
  1. Slightly Toast the bread slices on both sides with either a tsp of butter or ghee or oil. Keep it aside.
  2. In a pan, slightly brush some oil and add in an egg.
  3. Add required salt an pepper.
  4. Cook both the sides. If you want half boiled egg, then do not flip to other side. We used to have eggs fully boiled. So we cooked them fully.
  5. Now remove the egg from the pan and place it between the bread slices.
  6. Add the vegetables of your choice like shredded cabbage, grated carrot, tomato and coriander leaves.
  7. Again sprinkle some pepper and salt.
  8. Cover with the second toasted bread.
  9. Cut them diagonally.
  10. Serve it.
