Pudhina Chaas or Mint Buttermilk is a great coolant to our body in this hot summer days. Mint as many people know, has so many benefits to our body. If you are dehydrated in this summer, try this Pudhina chaas instead of the normal chaas. You will really love it's taste.

Ingredients
  • Mint leaves / Pudhina - 1 cup
  • Yogurt / curd - 1 cup
  • Green chilli - 1
  • Black salt - 1/5 tsp
  • Roasted Cumin Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Water - as required
  • Mint leaves or coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions
  1. Wash the mint leaves nicely. Add the mint leaves, green chilli, yogurt / curd, black salt, cumin powder and salt.
  2. Grind then to a smooth paste first. Then add the required water and give once round.
  3. Your tasty, refreshing and cool pudhina chaas is ready.

Recipe Notes

You can adjust the amount of green chili as your taste.

Try to use black salt as it gives unique taste. If not, use normal salt.

Be careful while grinding second time after adding the water. Some old mixie can splash the water out. If you are beginner in handling mixie, then add water and just mix it in a bigger bowl.
